These ten affirmations have been instrumental in my 18 plus years of Christ-centered recovery.

  1. All the glory goes to my Lord and my King, but the honor goes to the people in my journey.
  2. Hardships and brokenness are meant to grow us closer to others and most importantly to God not further apart.
  3. Always face the “Son” and you will never see the shadows.
  4. When it became harder for me to suffer than to change, I changed.
  5. Unconditional love, prayers, and lots of hugs are many of God’s blessings.
  6. Focus your energy on changing yourself not your circumstances.
  7. Live in a way that when people think of honesty and integrity they think of you.
  8. If you don’t have God, you will put something else in His place.
  9. “God, when I’m at the end of my rope, give me more rope.”
  10. The words you speak, become the house you live in.

These are a couple of the affirmations from my first Book one of my up and coming best seller novels, Restored – Out of the Ashes of a Broken Life to Love, Acceptance and Forgiveness.
